A Balancing Act
Fine gauge copperwire is hand woven in the ancient japanese tradition of Kumihimo. The weave is cut and inlaid in metallic gold polymer clay and baked. A clear glaze sealer is applied to the front of earring. Hung from 14k gold filled earwires. 1 1/2” long.

The gold wire is 14 kt gold filled for the bail and ear wires. 14 kt gold filled wire is a strictly regulated process that involves pressure bonding multiple layers of solid 14k gold with extreme heat over a core of high quality jeweler's brass resulting in a durable, quality real gold product.
To clean my pieces, gently rub with a polishing cloth.
