Open teardrop
Fine gauge copper wire is hand woven in the ancient japanese tradition of Kumihimo. The weave is hand formed and soldered. The pendant hangs beautifully on a 36” copper chain with a handmade toggle and bar clasp.

The copper wire is untreated and uncoated. As with any natural material, copper will tarnish over time creating a lovely patina. This piece has been treated with a LOS (liver of sulfur) patina to give the copper a soft, warm color.
Caring for woven wire jewelry - always lightly wipe with a polishing cloth. Do not rub as you will risk breaking or pulling the weave.
The woven portions of my jewelry are delicate and should not be worn to bed.
