Fine gauge copper, hand woven in the ancient japanese tradition of Kumihimo. Hand formed and soldered hanging beautifully from handmade copper earwires. 1” long.

My copper wire is untreated and uncoated, and will naturally tarnish over time. I have applied a LOS (liver of sulfur) patina to give the copper a soft, warm color and bring out the details of the weave.
Caring for woven wire jewelry - always lightly wipe with a polishing cloth. Do not rub as you will risk breaking or pulling the weave.
The woven portions of my jewelry are delicate and should not be worn to bed, or in the water.
With a few simple practices, your jewelry should give you many years of beauty and joy.
