Rustic Leaf Necklace
This gorgeous "one of a kind" statement necklace is comprised of a kumihimo woven copper pendant where I have left the raw ends of the wire exposed giving it a real rustic vibe. Hung on a copper chain with a handmade toggle and bar clasp, the entire piece is then given a dark rich patina. Necklace is 32" long.
PRODUCT INFO
My copper wire is untreated and uncoated. As with any natural material, copper will tarnish over time creating a lovely patina. For this piece, I have applied a LOS (liver of sulfur) patina to give the copper a soft, warm color and bringing out the detail of the weave.
Caring for woven wire jewelry - always lightly wipe with a polishing cloth. Do not rub as you will risk breaking or pulling the weave.
The woven portions of my jewelry are delicate and should not be worn to bed.
